Sorry for the lack of information lately but we have been pretty busy tripping around. Megs is still writing the Tour De France story so you'll have to wait for that one.

Let me update you on our last moments in England before the Tour.

Following an earlier invititation by my cousin Jane, we met up with her at the London Wetlands Centre. Set up to preserve the delicate balance between Urban expansion and wetland environs, the centre relies heavily on volunteers and donations. Jane happens to volunteer so we were able to get a personalised tour of the centre and even a siting of a rare bird. Meaghan-eagle-eye-Barry spotted it from one of the many hides around the centre.

It was a really good day out and if you get a chance look it up online, better still, go and visit, for cheap entertainment in London it is pretty tough to go past this place for a good day out. You might even learn something. If you happen to be there in the early afternoon take the free tour.

We also managed to get a couple of grounds tickets to Wimbledon 2007. What a hoot! If you are in town at all around the competition (July), take some time to check out a day at the Wimbledon grounds. Passes are cheap enough and it is a really good day out. We were lucky to catch a few countrymen and women at work on the day so it was great. We even saw one or two of the old and bolds.

That pretty much wrapped up the last few days in London for us this time round. It has been fantastic staying with Jen ans Steve, and of course their flatmates Lou and Dave. We were off for a month for the Tour De France. Stay tuned for that entry soon.
